The SimRush Core 7C is designed for enterprise environments where high capacity and throughput is required.
It has the ability to connect upto 5 ODU’s and AUX connection for maximum throughput and resilience.
The LAN side features 1x 10GB SFP+ cage, 1x 1Gb Ethernet port and a hardware Combo port which utilises 1x 1Gb Ethernet and 1x 1Gb SFP port to one Virtual interface, when both connections are used between the controller and another device it can failover between Ethernet or Fibre ports *(The Ethernet and Fibre port must be to the same device for this to work).
Instructions:
Make sure you follow the following steps to get online.
- Connect the ethernet cable to Ethernet Port 1 for ODU1, Ethernet Port 2 for ODU2, Ethernet Port 3 for ODU3, Ethernet Port 4 for ODU4 and Ethernet Port 5 for ODU5 (Highlighted in GREEN) – Please note that all 5 Ports requires the supplied PoE injector for the ODU.
- Connect the Controller to the power cord supplied (240v AC Lead)
- Connect your PC to the LAN (Highlighted in ORANGE )
- Ethernet port 7, Combo1 and SFP+
- The Core model does not have a Wireless card, additional SimRush wireless hardware will automatically connect to the controller and broadcast – Default wireless is “SimRush-xxxxxx” and the Serial number as the password, e.g AABBCC112233 – Serial number is located on the box or back of the controller, all characters before the “/123”
- To make changes to the LAN address or Wireless settings, please visit SPanel:
5. (OPTIONAL) Connect your alternative broadband to utilise the built-in Load-Balancing feature, connect Ethernet Port 6 ( Highlighted in RED ) to your alternative broadband network.
ℹ️ Please ensure your alternative broadband router is providing the following network via DHCP:
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 , Subnet: 255.255.255.0
