The wAP One AX is part of the new line of WiFi-6 802.11ax access points.
This is the most powerful units within the range of WiFi-6 AX.
The unit features 7dBi gain on both bands utilising its integrated antenna’s.
The unit is weather-proof giving the option to have the unit wall / ceiling or pole mounted both internally or externally making this unit the most resilient piece of hardware within the access point range.
It’s ideal for all environments within the home or garden as well as office and external leisure settings.
The unit features PoE IN on port 1 and has the ability to have a cable passed through the back of the case giving the ability to pass a cable straight through a wall or ceiling.

⚠️ The SimRush Access Points are centrally managed by the SimRush Controller and configured via the cloud management platform – SPanel. They are not stand alone wireless access points which requires a controller.
The unit is preconfigured to connect to the SimRush Controller which manages the wireless centrally via SPanel.
- Unbox the access point and follow the cable guide below
- Power the unit via the supplied PSU or via a PoE Switch
ℹ️ We would recommend using Port 1 as the “Uplink” port which connects back to the SimRush Controller. This port also a PoE-in port and can be powered by a compatible PoE Switch.
