The SimRush 5009 is an indoor controller & router for your network.
This model can support up to 2 Outdoor units – the 5G ODU must be in Port 1 and Port 2 with the controller being powered using 48v PSU.
It is pre-configured out of the box and managed through the SimRush web portal SPanel. To get online, simply plug in your SimRush Outdoor unit (ODU) as instructed below.
ℹ️ Note that this model does not have built-in WiFi, additional hardware required
Instructions:
Make sure you follow the following steps to get online. There are 3 port options you can use for WAN Connections on this controller. This controller can support the use of 3 WAN connections.
- Option 1: Connect Ethernet Port1 (Highlighted in GREEN on images below) This is set to be ODU1 and is expecting a DHCP address from 172.16.1.1/24 as gateway for ODU1
- Option 2: For additional ODU connect Ethernet Port2 (Highlighted in GREEN on images below) This is set to be ODU2 and is expecting a DHCP address from 172.16.2.1/24 as gateway for ODU2
- Option 3: Connect the Ethernet Port8 (Highlighted in RED on images below) This is set to be AUX1 and set to accept any DHCP given IP Address (NB. This must not be the same as ODU1, ODU2 or LAN)
- Connect the Controller to the power adaptor supplied (48v 2a DC)
- Connect your PC to the LAN (Highlighted in ORANGE )
- Ethernet port 3-7 and SFP
- Wireless – Default wireless is “SimRush-xxxxxx” and the Serial number as the password, e.g AABBCC112233 – Serial number is located on the box or back of the controller, all characters before the “/123”
- To make changes to the LAN address or Wireless settings, please visit NetPanel: NetPanel | Dashboard
ℹ️ Please ensure your alternative broadband router is providing the following network via DHCP:
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 , Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Cable Guide:
Outdoor unit may vary from that of image, but the port to connect the ethernet cable in remains the same.
